I personally think the pwnage of games lists is this...

Cod 4: Great
Cod 5 Great
Socom: such a blast from the past its awsome
MGS4: fucking best offline game i ever played.
GTA4: great for fucking about on

What do you guys think?

the missus got me farcry 2 for the 360 .. pretty good imo..

and the map editor is unreal .. i downloaded a map someone had made..

they have done an exact copy of backlot from cod4.

yeah good list dan, I might get metal gear but i have only played number 3 and i only liked that because it was in the wilderness.

Anyway fall out3 and socom are keeping me pretty busy

Cod 4: great and original.
Cod 5: shit rip off of cod4. flamethrower and ray gun are novelties and wear off. zombie mode is pretty gd.
Socom: not played yet and not sure if i want to, ill have to wait and see.
MGS4: agreed the offline cant be beat. online is deffinately better than most games (cod 5 etc) but i can see it gettin old.
GTA4: without a doubt the best social game going. sure the actual online game modes were shit but who needs them when u have free roam.

overall - someone needs to give the top dogs of the gaming industry a kick in the nuts and tell them to stop being retards, and get real and non retarded gamers involved in the development of their games.

I didn't mind the other modes, but free mode is the best, especially when you can get a good group of sensible people together... sadly i could hardly ever manage that, even with you guys we were always on at different times or something like that

it wouldn't hurt to wait untill this new patch comes out, but i have been playing it and its a bit of a hoot .....but its a lot closer in with smaller levels I still haven't been able to get my "long range kill fix" just yet.

ye think that would be the only major disappointment for me. used to love long range kills, especially with the iw, high scope and front grip or silencer combination, that one was always a laugh.

i did a bit of sniping today

I was having a lot of fun with the escort mode and the big level with the bridges and river underneath ( i was killing the VIPs when they brought them to the extraction point ). Also on the urban wasteland level sniping the bomb carrier from the overhead walkway just before he plants the bomb. Then i kept on sniping into the crossroads level and riped the shit out of some yanks in a respawn game which was a bit bizzre for me as it was on the USA vs Europe server and there was no lag on my end although i think that they had some

The SASR is lots of fun now i love hearing the bullet strike their heads .... too bad the seals don't have one.
